PUBLIC ADVISORY: Temporary Suspension of Operations of CO Malolos and TOPS Malolos on 1 August 2023

MALOLOS 31 JULY 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs informs the public that its Consular Office (CO) and Temporary Off-site Passport Services (TOPS) in Malolos City, Bulacan, will be closed on Tuesday, 1 August 2023.

The said suspension is in accordance with Memorandum No. Memorandum No. CDRRMC-2023-38 dated 31 July 2023 issued by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) of Malolos City, Bulacan, declaring the suspension of work in all government offices in Malolos on Tuesday, 1 August 2023 due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) which brought moderate to heavy rains in the City of Malolos, causing flooding to a number of barangays in the City.

Affected applicants scheduled at CO Malolos and TOPS Malolos will be accommodated upon resumption of consular operations in Malolos until 1 September 2023, Mondays to Fridays, during regular operating hours.

The said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.
