Public Advisory on the the Half-day Operations of DFA Aseana, all Consular Offices in Metro Manila, and TOPS on Monday, 24 July 2023

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 23 July 2023 – The public is informed that there will be half-day operations in DFA Aseana, DFA Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) in the National Capital Region (except Quezon City) tomorrow, Monday, 24 July 2023, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 25 issued by the Office of the President dated, 21 July 2023, due to the forecasted inclement weather expected to be brought  by Typhoon “Egay”, as well as the scheduled seventy-two (72)-hour transport strike in Metro Manila. 
 
Applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS sites in Metro Manila will be accommodated from Tuesday, 25 July 2023 to Friday, 25 August 2023.

TOPS (in Metro Manila) applicants will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from Tuesday, 25 July 2023 to Friday, 25 August 2023. TOPS applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their original appointment.

Likewise, the Passport Releasing Service Center in Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will only operate from 8:00 – 12:00 NN, tomorrow, Monday, 24 July 2023 and will resume operations on Tuesday, 25 July 2023.

FOR AUTHENTICATION APPLICANTS

1. Affected Authentication applicants whose confirmed appointments in the afternoon at DFA-Aseana will be accommodated on the following date:

Original Appointment Schedule New Appointment Schedule
24 July 2023, 12:00nn onwards 25 – 28 July 2023

Affected Applicants whose confirmed appointments in the afternoon must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 24 July 2023.

2.Authentication applicants whose confirmed appointments are affected in other Consular Offices (COs) will be accommodated within 30 days from 25 July 2023.

Applicants whose confirmed appointments are affected must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 24 July 2023.

3. Releasing of Authentication Documents at Double Dragon Plaza

Applicants may refer to their Official Receipts or Authentication Slips of the releasing date and time for reference. Applicants with a scheduled release for 12:00nn to 04:00pm on 24 July 2023, may claim their documents before 12nn. Releasing of Authentication Documents will resume on 25 July 2023 onwards.
