Public Advisory on the Suspension of Operations for October and November 2023

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 12 October 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs informs the public that consular operations in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) nationwide are suspended on Monday, 30 October 2023, pursuant to Proclamation No. 359 issued by the Office of the President, dated 09 October 2023, declaring 30 October 2023 as a special (non-working) day due to Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

Furthermore, the public is informed that operations in DFA Aseana, all Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) throughout the country are suspended on 01, 02, and 27 November 2023, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 90. Regular operations and services will resume on 03 November 2023, and 28 November 2023, respectively.

Applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments on Monday, 30 October 2023, in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS sites will be accommodated from Tuesday, 31 October 2023 to Thursday, 30 November 2023.

TOPS applicants will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from Tuesday, 31 October 2023 to Thursday, 30 November 2023. TOPS applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.

Likewise, the Passport Releasing Service Center in Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Monday, 30 October 2023, and will resume operations on Tuesday, 31 October 2023.

1. Authentication Walk-in Applications at DFA-Aseana, NCR Consular Offices (COs) and Provincial Consular Offices (COs) will be suspended on the following dates:

2. Releasing of Authentication Documents at Double Dragon Plaza Applicants may refer to their Official Receipts or Authentication Slips of the releasing date and time for reference. Releasing of Authentication Documents will resume a day after the suspended date.
