Public Advisory on the Suspension of Consular Operations on 25 September 2023

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 22 September 2023 – The Department of Foreign Affairs informs the public that consular operations in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices (COs), and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) nationwide are suspended on Monday, 25 September 2023, from 3:00 PM onwards pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 32 issued by the Office of the President, dated 21 September 2023, in order to afford the government workers and their families time to celebrate the Family Week.

Applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments on Monday, 25 September 2023, 3:00 PM in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS sites will be accommodated from Tuesday, 26 September 2023 to Thursday, 26 October 2023.


TOPS applicants will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from Tuesday, 26 September 2023 to Thursday, 26 October 2023. TOPS applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot of their appointment.

Likewise, the Passport Releasing Service Center in Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Monday, 25 September 2023, 3pm onwards and will resume operations on Tuesday, 26 September 2023.

FOR AUTHENTICATION APPLICANTS

1. Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments on 25 September 2023 at DFA-Aseana will be accommodated on the following dates:

25 September 2023, 3:00pm onwards 25 September 2023, 8:00am-3:00pm

The above applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 25 September 2023.

2. Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments in NCR Consular Offices (COs) and Provincial Consular Offices (COs) will be accommodated within 30 days from 26 September 2023.

3. Releasing of Authentication Documents at Double Dragon Plaza

Applicants may refer to their Official Receipts or Authentication Slips of the releasing date and time for reference. Applicants with a scheduled release for 03:00pm to 04:00pm on 25 September 2023, may claim their documents before 2:30pm. Releasing of Authentication Documents will resume on 26 September 2023 onwards.
