PUBLIC ADVISORY ON THE HALF-DAY SUSPENSION OF OPERATIONS OF THE OFFICE ON CONSULAR AFFAIRS ON 05 APR 2023

 

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 03 APRIL 2023 – The public is informed that operations in DFA Aseana, all Consular Offices, and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) throughout the country are suspended starting 12 noon on Wednesday, 05 April 2023, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 16 issued by the Office of the President.

Applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices, and TOPS sites will be accommodated from Tuesday, 11 April 2023 to Thursday, 11 May 2023.

TOPS applicants will be accommodated at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs) from Tuesday, 11 April 2023 to Thursday, 11 May 2023. TOPS applicants are advised to follow the same time slot of their appointment. For the list of SCOs please refer to this link:

Likewise, the Passport Releasing Service Center in Double Dragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also be closed from 12 noon onwards on Wednesday, 05 April 2023 and will resume operations on Tuesday, 11 April 2023

FOR AUTHENTICATION APPLICANTS

  • Affected Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments at DFA-Aseana will be accommodated on the following dates:
Original Appointment Schedule New Appointment Schedule
05 April 2023 11 – 14 April 2023

 

Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 05 April 2023.

  • Affected Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments in other Consular Offices (COs) will be accommodated within 30 days from 11 April 2023.

  • Releasing of Authentication Documents at Double Dragon Plaza

Applicants may continue to claim Apostille Documents scheduled for release until 4:00pm. Please refer to the Official Receipts or Authentication Slips of the original releasing date for reference.
