OPENING OF DFA CO CEBU PASSPORT SATELLITE OFFICE IN SM CITY CONSOLACION

PARAÑAQUE CITY, 08 February 2024 – In view of the increasing demand for passport appointment slots in the Visayas Region, the Department of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce the launch of the DFA Consular Office Cebu Passport Satellite Office (PSO) at Unit 228-229, 2nd Floor SM City Consolacion, Brgy. Lamac, Consolacion Cebu City.

The opening of the PSO is part of the DFA’s continuing efforts to make passport services easier and more accessible to the public. Initially, PSO-SM Consolacion is expected to serve 150-200 applicants daily and will gradually increase the offered appointment slots in the next months.

The PSO is supervised by a DFA Consular Office (CO) and all frontline operations, such as passport processing and encoding are done off-site. Any follow-ups and additional requests are carried out by the Supervising Consular Office. PSO-SM Consolacion is under the supervision of the DFA CO Cebu.

PSO – SM Consolacion will offer its Renewal Passport Application services starting 19 February 2024. PSO – SM Consolacion shall be catering to online appointments only. All PSO applicants may book their appointments online at the DFA website: https://www.passport.gov.ph/.
