DFA Consular Services Accommodation in Metro Manila from 15 March to 14 April 2020

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that all the Consular Offices (CO) in Metro Manila (NCR-West, NCR-East, NCR-South, NCR-Northeast, NCR-Central, NCR-North) as well as its office in ASEANA Business Park in Parañaque City, will be temporarily operating with a skeletal workforce and provide consular services only to individuals with urgent needs, such as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and those with medical cases, from 16 March 2020 until 14 April 2020.

This temporary arrangement is in accordance with the Stringent Social Distancing Measures in the National Capital Region (NCR) imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) effective 15 March 2020.

The DFA CO in NCR-Central (Robinson’s Galleria) will operate Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. while all the other COs in Metro Manila will operate Mondays to Fridays, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Meanwhile, the DFA Office of Consular Affairs in ASEANA Business Park will operate Mondays to Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The public is also informed that there will be no Saturday operations nationwide beginning 21 March 2020 until further notice.

Also in accordance with the directives of the IATF-EID resolution on social distancing to minimize the possible transmission of the virus, applicants who have no urgent need for consular services, including those with confirmed passport appointments, are requested to defer their visits to these Consular Offices until the community quarantine period ends.

Passport applicants with confirmed appointments from 09 March 2020, and who were not able to show up during their appointment due to COVID-19 concerns and the community quarantine, will be accommodated from 15 April until 29 May 2020, during regular office hours, except on Saturdays. Likewise, those seeking Authentication and Civil Registration services are also advised to avail of these services after the same period.

Applicants with questions or emergencies may get in touch with the Consular Office where their appointment was scheduled. Alternatively, the public may email [email protected] or call 8651 9400 for questions or inquiries. END
