DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga Bags 2nd Star Award From LGU
The DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga was once again recognized by the City Government of San Fernando Pampanga for its cultural diplomacy efforts during the 6th Annual Star Awards which was held on 20 September 2023 at the Heroes Hall of the City of San Fernando Pampanga.
Receiving the award for two consecutive years, the consular office’s efforts to promote Pampanga’s culture, heritage, tourism and Kapampangan arts were again applauded by the City as it bestowed another Star to Consular Office.
The Star Awards, named after Pampanga’s famous “parol”, is an annual City event organized by the City Tourism Office recognizing tourism stakeholders and partner organizations and individuals for their excellent contribution and leadership in the promotion of tourism, culture and arts of San Fernando City. The event was attended by Hon. Vilma B. Caluag, Mayor of San Fernando City Pampanga (CSFP) and city officials.
Head of Consular Office Chester A. Diaz and Administrative Officer Jonathan A. Tolentino received the office’s Star Award, accompanied by Finance Analyst Jenna O. Versosa and Lucien Ian A. Cuyugan. END
