Public Advisory: Temporary Suspension of Operations in the DFA Consular Office in Tacloban City

19 April 2021 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) is closed today, 19 April 2021, due to Typhoon “Bising” and the City of Tacloban’s Executive Order No. 2021-04-17 Series of 2021 dated 18 April 2021.

 

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Tuesday, 20 April 2021, unless otherwise advised.

 

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments, who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations, must secure another appointment by emailing CO Tacloban ([email protected]) with the following information:

  • – Name
  • – Date of birth
  • – Original appointment date and time
  • – Preferred date and time of new appointment

 

The new appointment will be on any working day (Monday to Friday) from 21 April to 20 May 2021 during the CO’s regular operation hours (10:00AM to 5:00PM).

 

Applicants requiring emergency or urgent consular services may contact CO Tacloban ([email protected]) by email. END
