Public Advisory: Temporary Suspension of Operations in DFA Consular Offices in San Pablo, Laguna; Lipa, Batangas; and Legazpi, Albay

26 October 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its Consular Offices in San Pablo, Laguna; Lipa, Batangas; and Legazpi, Albay (CO San Pablo, CO Lipa, and CO Legazpi) will be closed today, 26 October 2020, due to inclement weather brought by Typhoon Quinta and in line with the pronouncements of their respective provincial governments.

CO San Pablo, CO Lipa, and CO Legazpi will resume their regular operations on Tuesday, 27 October 2020.

Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of consular services due to the suspension of operations must secure another appointment by sending an email to CO San Pablo ([email protected]), CO Lipa ([email protected]) or CO Legazpi ([email protected]) with the following information:

  • – Name
  • – Date of birth
  • – Original appointment date and time
  • – Preferred date and time of new appointment

The preferred new appointment may be on any working day (Monday to Friday) from 27 October to 27 November 2020 during the CO’s regular operation hours (10:00AM to 5:00PM).
