Public Advisory: On the Ongoing System Upgrade for the Online Passport Appointments

6 July 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs Office of Consular Affairs informs the public that confirmation emails for passport appointments may be delayed due to an ongoing system upgrade.

Applicants who have paid for their passport appointment are advised to wait 24 hours to receive their application packet and to check their spam folders should the application packet not appear in their inbox. If no email was received, applicants are advised to immediately call 8234 – 3488.

Applicants who still have not received their application packet in time for their passport appointment must bring the original receipt of their payment and present this for verification at the Consular Office where the appointment was made.

The DFA appreciates the continued cooperation and understanding of the public as we work on upgrading our systems.
