Public Advisory: On the Closure of Consular Offices in Observance of Eid’l Fitr on 13 May 2021

12 May 2021 – The Department of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform the public that its Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana and all the Consular Offices (COs) will be closed on Thursday, 13 May 2021, in observance of Eid’l Fitr.

 

Affected applicants are requested to take note of the following:

 

  • Passport services for appointments scheduled on 05 April 2021 in OCA Aseana and in the COs in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal will resume on Friday, 14 May 2021.
  • Passport accommodation services scheduled on 13 May 2021 through the courtesy lane facility in OCA Aseana and the COs in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal shall likewise resume on Friday, 14 May 2021.
  • Authentication/Apostille and other consular services in OCA Aseana scheduled on 13 May 2014 will resume on 14 May 2021. For NCR COs, please contact them for your revised schedule.
  • Consular services of regularly operating COs outside of the NCR Plus Bubble Area will resume on 14 May 2021, unless there is an existing declaration made by the local government unit that affects the operations of the Consular Office. Please contact the concerned Consular Office for the revised schedule of your appointment.

 

Please be advised that the schedules are still subject to sudden changes due to unforeseen circumstances or implemented policies of local governments and establishments which host DFA Consular Offices.

 

Anyone entering our Consular Offices will be subjected to a temperature check prior to entry and will be required to wear a mask and a face shield and must follow any other public health measures in place while inside the CO premises.

 

We wish to reiterate that the number of persons allowed inside our COs at any given time is limited. This is in accordance with the prescribed social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. END
