Public Advisory: Closure of all DFA Offices on 12 August 2019

The Department of Foreign Affairs – Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) informs the public that all DFA Consular Offices nationwide will be closed on 12 August 2019. This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 789 dated 07 August 2019 issued by the Executive Secretary, declaring Monday, August 12, a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha or the “Feast of Sacrifice.” There will be no passport or authentication/Apostillization (“red ribbon”) service that day.

Applicants whose passports or authenticated/Apostillized documents are scheduled to be released on 12 August 2019 may claim them the following day, 13 August 2019.
