Public Advisory: Applicants with Confirmed Passport Appointment on 14 May 2018

PUBLIC ADVISORY: APPLICANTS WITH CONFIRMED APPOINTMENTS ON 14 MAY 2018
In accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 479 declaring 14 May 2018 as a special (non-working) day due to the Barangay and Sanggunian Kabataan Elections, the Department of Foreign Affairs- Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) informs the public that DFA Satellite and Consular Offices will be closed on 14 May 2018.
Applicants with confirmed passport appointments on the said date may be accommodated at their original site from 15 to 25 May 2018 except Saturdays.
Walk-in applicants (senior citizens, PWDs, pregnant women, solo parents, minors 7 years and below, and OFWs) are advised that, during the aforesaid period, mall-based Consular Offices may set limits on the number of walk-in applicants that may be accommodated based on each office’s space and capacity. Applicants are advised to take into account the expected surge of applicants after the one-day suspension of work.
Applicants are further advised to bring a printout of their confirmed passport appointments originally scheduled on 14 May 2018 along with the other requirements for their passport application.
