DFA Consular Services in the Visayas and Mindanao

Publish Date: 17 March 2020
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of Consular Affairs informs the public that its Consular Offices in the Visayas and Mindanao will be operating with skeletal workforces and will provide services only to individuals with urgent consular needs, such as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and those with medical emergencies, until further notice.
This temporary arrangement is in support of the declarations of various local community quarantines and the current nationwide public health efforts.
The public is also informed that there will be no Saturday operations in the Visayas and Mindanao until further notice.
Passport applicants with confirmed appointments until  from 09 March 2020 to 08 April 2020, including those with confirmed appointments on Saturday, who do not show up for their appointments will be accommodated from 13 April until 29 May 2020, during regular office hours, except on Saturdays.
Likewise, those seeking Authentication and Civil Registration services are also advised to avail of these services after the same period.
Furthermore, passport applicants are advised that passport deliveries may be disrupted or delayed and they should prepare contingencies for their travel plans.
Applicants with questions or emergencies may get in touch with the Consular Office where their appointment was scheduled. Alternatively, the public may email [email protected] or call 8651 9400 for questions or inquiries. END
